Book Review: Unleashed by sara Humphreys

I just finished reading Unleashed by Sara Humphreys. This is the first book in her Amoveo series. I have to save I LOVED this book and I can’t wait until Untouched (book 2) comes out this April.

Ms. Humphreys does a fantastic job creating a story that engages you from page one and keeps you turning the pages until the very end. She’s created strong characters that a reader can connect with. They will stay with you long after you have finished reading their story.
I especially enjoyed this book because it takes place in Westerly, RI. I spent summers in Westerly as a child and return every year for a family reunion at Misquamicut Beach. I am familiar with many of the places Ms. Humphreys talks about in this story. I felt I was sitting at Paddy’s restaurant with Malcolm and Samantha as they shared their first date; shopping along with Samantha and her friend at Watch Hill. I too remember riding the Carousel as a kid, but unlike Samantha I was able to get the brass ring on occasion!

This was a an enjoyable book and I highly recommend it if you’re into paranormal romances, especially those of the shape shifter variety!
